Volume I · The Beginning

How We
Met.

A four-hour drive with a stranger. A rave in Nashville. Everything that came after.

the drive up.

Volume I · Scene I

Four hours, two strangers.

We had never met. Just two strangers who agreed to drive four hours together to go to a rave. No history, no plan beyond the weekend — and somehow it didn't feel weird at all. We made it to the Airbnb, sat around for a while, killed time before Nashville.

godess.

Volume I · Scene II

The dress, the boots, the goddess.

Then you walked out to get ready for Nashville — little dress, boots, olive skin glowing — and my mouth literally hit the floor. The most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my entire life. I'm not even exaggerating. I knew right then.

first bar.

Volume I · Scene III

Nashville & the CIA.

At first I couldn't tell if you liked me — but I already knew I wanted you. We sat at the bar talking about infiltrating the CIA, every mystery and conspiracy we both believed in, laughing like we'd known each other forever. Every guy in there was watching you, and you never took his eyes off mine.

rave night.

Volume I · Scene IV

Rave in the cave.

The next night was the rave. You in the neon — pink, purple, blue washing over you — and I just kept thinking, I want this girl in my life. Then I went to the bathroom and got drugged. Woke up getting narcanned in the back of an ambulance. (Yeah. That happened.)

the moment.

Volume I · Scene V

The kiss in the Uber.

While I was a wreck, you took care of me. Got us an Uber back, and on the way home you grabbed my face, kissed me, and told me I was the only one you wanted. That was the moment. That was it for me.

us, always.

Volume I · Scene VI

Inseparable ever since.

We drove back to Alabama, you came straight to my aunt's house, and we haven't spent a day apart since. Moved in together. Started a business. Drove to Florida to see your mom. I got arrested for some bullshit and you stayed — never flinched. Now here we are in Florida again with your family. A whole lifetime in a few short months, and I can't wait for more.
