A Letter From Me
My love, We met as strangers. Four hours in a car with someone I didn't know yet — and somehow it already felt like the beginning of something I'd been waiting on my whole life. Then we got to the Airbnb. We sat around, talked, killed time before Nashville. And then you walked out of that room in the little dress, your boots, your olive skin glowing — and I swear to God my mouth hit the floor. The most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. I'm not exaggerating. I'll never forget the way you looked standing there. In Nashville I wasn't sure you liked me yet. Didn't matter — I already knew. I knew I wanted you. We sat at that bar talking about infiltrating the CIA, every mystery and conspiracy we both believed in, laughing like we'd known each other for years. Every guy in that place was looking your way, and you never took your eyes off me. That's when I really knew. The next night was the rave in the cave. You in the neon lights — pink, purple, blue all over you — and I just kept thinking, I want this girl in my life. Then I went to the bathroom and got drugged. Woke up getting narcanned in the back of an ambulance. And in the middle of all that chaos, you took care of me. You got us an Uber back, and on the way there you grabbed my face and kissed me and told me I was the only one you wanted. That was it for me. That was the moment. We drove back to Alabama, you came straight to my aunt's house, and we haven't spent a day apart since. We moved in together. We started a business. We laughed until our stomachs hurt. We drove to Florida to see your mom. I got arrested for some bullshit and you stayed — you didn't flinch, didn't leave, you helped me through every second of it. And now here we are, back in Florida with your family, still adventuring, still us. It's been a few short months and we've already lived a whole lifetime. I can't wait for the next one. And the one after that. And every single one after that. Forever yours, Me
A Letter From You
My favorite person, If I had to pick a feeling and live in it forever, it would be the one I have when I look up and you're already looking at me. You make ordinary days feel rare. You make the hard days feel survivable. You make me feel like the softest version of myself is the right one. I love you. I love you. I love you. Yours, Me
